What’s better, the simple, rugged and
dependable Tiger Moth or the sweetly refined and capable Bücker
Jungmann? Fellow airline pilots Dave Hadfield and Larry Ernewein
still don’t have the answer to that question but they sure had a
lot of fun trying to find out.

What’s the first thing you do with an
airplane you’ve built with your own hands? If you’re Jim Cole,
you fly it across the country. Seventeen days and a bent gear leg
later, he has a better understanding of why we fly — and why we

Canada’s largest aviation exposition,
Canadian Aviation Expo, takes off June 20 to 22 at Oshawa Municipal
Airport. There will be entertainment, concessions, a daily air show,
hundreds of aircraft on display and in the air, and hundreds of
exhibitors, including the first Canadian appearance of the mockup of
Cirrus’s new personal jet. The show will also feature a used
aircraft market where buyers and sellers can meet to kick the tires
and make deals. Canadian Aviator is a major sponsor and we look
forward to seeing you
at our booth.
